What we are witnessing in Minneapolis and across the country is gun violence, perpetrated by the government of the United States. No person, or government agency, should be above the law. We must name it and talk about it. Violence thrives in silence and we will not be silent in the face of these shootings.

We are devastated by the killing of Renee Nicole Good by ICE agents in Minneapolis yesterday. State violence carried out with a gun is gun violence - and the Coalition rejects gun violence in all its forms.
